Dr. Wajid Jafri
Dr. Jafri has more than 25 years of rich experience in Pharmaceutical Industry in the areas of process development of API’s, Intermediates, product commercialization, Technology Transfer and DMF filings.

Dr. Wajid Jafri
Director
Wajid Sajjad Jafri joined Waruksha Laboratories Pvt. Ltd. as a Director in October 2018. He has more than 25 years of successful pharmaceutical experience managing Process development of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API’s) and Intermediates, Drug Master File (DMF) fillings, Contract Research and Technology Transfer areas. During his tenure at Waruksha, Dr. Jafri’s expertise in process research, scale up tactics and commercial understanding, have helped fuel the growth of the company’s current product pipeline and collaborations.
Prior joining to Waruksha Dr. Jafri served as Head R&D at Parmax Pharma. He has held number of research and development positions in various organizations Viz. Ranbaxy Laboratories, Orchid Pharma., Jubilant Organosys, Max India, Atul Ltd and Nicholas Piramal India Ltd. He has several research publications and patents to his credit.
Dr. Jafri holds a Ph.D. degree in Chemistry from Patna University.
